Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using dotunwealth.com (the "Site"), including the Wealth Strength Score, Finance Friday, the Store, the Community, or Work with Me, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site is operated by Dotun Ayodele-Bamisaiye, CPA, independently of Dexteritas Professional Corporation. Any professional accounting engagement with Dexteritas is governed by a separate engagement letter, not these Terms.

2. The Site and what we offer

The Site provides personal finance education content, a self-assessment tool (the Wealth Strength Score), video content, digital and physical products, a paid community, and coaching/advisory services offered separately through Work with Me. Features, pricing, and availability may change at any time.

3. Not professional advice

All content on the Site — including the Wealth Strength Score, Finance Friday episodes, Store products, and community discussions — is provided for general educational purposes only. It does not constitute personalized financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice, and no advisor-client, accountant-client, or fiduciary relationship is created by using the Site or its content.

See our Disclaimer for further detail. Services purchased directly through Work with Me may involve a separate, explicit engagement — the scope of any such relationship will be defined in writing at that time, not by this Site's general content.

4. Accounts, purchases, and payment

• You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account, purchasing a product, or applying through Work with Me
• Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not store your full payment card details
• Prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise and may change without notice, though changes will not affect an order already placed
• Digital products (journals, workbooks, courses) are generally non-refundable once accessed or downloaded, except where required by law — specific refund terms will be shown at the point of purchase

5. Membership and cancellation

Community membership, where offered, renews automatically on the billing cycle you select at signup unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period unless otherwise stated.

6. Acceptable use

When using the Site or Community, you agree not to:

• Share paid content, courses, or community access with non-members
• Post abusive, harassing, or unlawful content
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the Site or its underlying platforms
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms

We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these terms.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including the Wealth by Design framework, Finance Friday episodes, written content, and Store products — is owned by Dotun Ayodele-Bamisaiye unless otherwise noted, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without written permission, beyond normal personal use (e.g., using a purchased journal for your own planning).

8. Third-party links and content

The Site links to or embeds third-party platforms (including YouTube). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites, and linking to them does not imply endorsement of everything on those platforms.

9. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Financial outcomes depend on many factors specific to your situation, and no result — including any implied by the Wealth Strength Score — is guaranteed.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dotun Ayodele-Bamisaiye and Dotun Wealth will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of profits or financial loss, arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Canadian law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dotun Ayodele-Bamisaiye and Dotun Wealth from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site, Community, or any paid product at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms, without affecting rights or obligations that arose prior to termination.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page, with the "Last updated" date revised. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
